Okay, so I now that the last engagement session I had, I said it was cold, but this time, it was almost unbearable. It was last week, two days before we were supposed to get all the snow. So with the wind, it had to easily be in the teens. We ventured through it though and in return we got some pretty amazing pictures of Vanessa & Andrew. I can’t thank them enough for sticking out the weather and pushing through to do this engagement session.
We started out at Piedmont Park, which has become extremely popular with my 2010 couples. I haven’t done any sessions there in about a year so it’s nice to see the park through fresh eyes and an eagerness to create something different for each of my couples. I think that we accomplished that and I’m starting to love the winter feel for pictures. It’s a nice change!
Vanessa & Andrew are getting married February 6, 2010 and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their big day!! Here are some of my favorites from that cold, windy afternoon…
I could have photographed them all day (if I wasn’t in danger of getting frostbite) Vanessa has the most playful, happy personality and Andrew just soaks it all in. I can tell that she lights up the room just by walking in and the sweetest part of all, Andrew recognizes that falls in love with her all over again.
The lighting that day was per-fect. There is just something about that afternoon sunlight. 
This is how you can find Vanessa at any given time, laughing. I just love these of her!

My two favorites of Andrew. I can’t wait to photograph him on the wedding day in his tux!! He’s just awesome in front of the camera.
So what makes a great picture even better? Just add Vanessa into it. This may be my favorite from the whole day. Just love it.
