Snow Day 2010

All morning we had Jonas on ‘Snow Patrol.” We opened the blinds so he could look outside and let us know when it started snowing. Luckily, when he went down for his nap it started coming down. By the time he was up, there was a blanket of snow covering the entire street. We bundled him up and we headed outside for a lesson in SNOWMAN MAKING 101. Neither Brian or myself, have EVER made a snowman. I guess when you live in Georgia your whole life, you don’t count on it snowing too much.

We had a blast playing in the snow and once again, watching the wonder in a 2 year old’s eyes as he tastes snow for the first time. Happy Snow Day!! :)

February 16, 2010 - 5:30 pm tricia - Hi Lindsey, That was a great slideshow! Your little boy is just so darling! I was wondering, how do you have video and pictures of the same thing? Are you able to capture a scene in the video as a still frame picture or do you take video, switch to still frame, take video, take still frame, etc.? Therefore, running the chance of missing some action. Thanks for sharing! I am a photographer living vicarously through you. Tricia

February 16, 2010 - 9:11 pm admin - Hi Tricia :) My camera (Canon 5D Mark II) has the hd video built in so what I normally do is shoot some video, switch to pictures and then back to video. That's the easiest way to do it for me. You can take pictures while you are filming but they don't look as good. :) Hope this helps you! Thanks for stopping by!!
