Vegas BABY!!

So tomorrow I will be flying out to Vegas to meet up with my best friend and a ton of other photographer friends for 5 days at WPPI. This is only the largest photography convention in the world and it happens each year in Vegas. Every other time I haven’t been able to go. I was either, broke, pregnant, just had a baby, didn’t want to leave my baby or just didn’t think that I would EVER be able to go. It seemed like only the coolest of the cool photographers went. They did fancy shoots with other celebrity photographers, spent their days at cool photographer club meetings and gave out fancy awards for being so cool. Basically, if you are anybody in the photographer world, you are THERE. So once again, I didn’t think that I would be able to go this year. Well with the thanks and huge nudge of my bff, I am proud to say that I will be going to this ‘cool photographer club thingy’ and I couldn’t be happier. Here are ten things that I hope to accomplish during the next 5 days in Vegas free from husbands, babies and responsiblities:

1. Meet Jasmine Star and try not to make a complete dork of myself.

2. Watch the dancing water fountain at the Bellagio Hotel.

3. Star as an extra in CSI.

4. Play $10.00 on slot machines. I know, I’m a BIG spender.

5. Catch up with my buddy, David Jay in the INVITE only, super cool secret photography club meeting.

6. Ride a roller coaster on top of the Stratosphere Hotel.

7. Have my picture taken in front of the Eiffel Tower.

8. Meet Elvis and have a picture taken as proof.

9. Eat at In-N-Out Burger.

10. Steal Mike Tyson’s tiger.

I will post pictures from our trip when I get back on Friday so everyone can share in the joy of Vegas. I hope that everyone has a great week, I know that I will
